Efforts to beat tuberculosis fall far short, WHO warns

LONDON (Reuters) - Health authorities worldwide need to move much faster to prevent, detect and treat a "deadly epidemic" of tuberculosis if they are to reduce TB infections and deaths by 2030, the World Health Organization warned on Thursday.
