Acorda Therapeutics scraps development of Parkinson's disease drug

(Reuters) - Acorda Therapeutics Inc said on Monday it would terminate developing its drug to treat Parkinson's disease, a week after the drugmaker reported five deaths in key studies testing the treatment.
