GSK grabs Calico top scientist and Roche veteran as new R&D head

LONDON (Reuters) - GlaxoSmithKline has poached veteran drug industry scientist Hal Barron from Alphabet-funded Calico as its new research head, showing new Chief Executive Emma Walmsley's determination to improve productivity.
