Bayer wins EU watchdog's endorsement for wider Xarelto use

Bayer won the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) recommendation for widening the use of its blockbuster clot prevention drug Xarelto to include atherosclerosis patients, opening a potentially lucrative new market.
