Paratek antibiotic not inferior to current treatments: FDA staff

A new antibiotic from Paratek Pharmaceuticals Inc is not inferior to current treatments for bacterial skin infections and pneumonia, U.S. Food and Drug Administration staff reviewers said on Monday.
