GW Pharma cannabis drug wins European panel OK

GW Pharmaceuticals' marijuana-based treatment Epidiolex has won a positive recommendation for marketing approval from a European Medicines Agency (EMA) panel on Friday for use as an additional treatment for two types of seizures.
